Taylor's Birthday

Sleepy...

Taylor is still sleeping! I put her down at 10:30, so she has been out for almost 2 full hours. We have stuff to do today, so I'm wondering if I should be waking her up. Plus, she has to be hungry!
Although I made Spaghetti-Os for her and just ate almost all of them. Oops.

Long time..

So it has been over a month since I last posted! Not totally sure how that happened, but I guess it does show that time flies. I could blame our home computer not letting me access blogger, then my laptop crashing and my motherboard dying, but really, it has just been busy. I was sick, Mike was sick, and we are busy. But life is good!

Taco Bell

So I have been craving Taco Bell for about 3 weeks now, it just never fit into my schedule/plans to grab some. I thought I was going to a networking lunch today but am just not in the mood to spend $8 of my own money (for a work function nonetheless) for a tasteless pizza buffet. So I am killing a little time at the library, then heading to the bank, and then I'm going to Taco Bell on my way to work. Kind of sad that I am killing time just for a meal, but I am really excited about it.

What can I say, you can't beat lunch for under $3.


Speaking of the library, have I mentioned how much I enjoy the library? We get all of our movies from the library for free, I read a ton of great books, plus they have museum passes where you and up to 3 other get in for free! Taylor, Deb and I are going to the Russian Museum tomorrow, of which I know nothing about. We'll have to see how that goes, if Taylor will stay in her stroller or want to run around, etc. I'm hoping to take her to a museum at least every other week, so this is the test run.

There are a ton of kids here right now! I love to see it busy.

Okay, perhaps I have killed enough time so that it is closer to lunch than breakfast!

I get to hang out with baby T today. She is sound asleep right now, as we have already had a busy morning. Megan dropped her off at the Dunn Bros by our house at 8 am. T and I had some breakfast while we waited for our meeting with Todd. Then off to Ridgedale to walk and then meet Linda for coffee! It was busy, and now she is sleeping and I might be sleeping soon as well!
I just finished a really interesting book, Prisoner of Trebekistan by Bob Harris. All about his years spent studying for and playing Jeopardy! It was kind of a rambling read, but I did end up enjoying it.
I'm going to read Hanna's Daughters next, I enjoy family sagas so I am going to give this one a try!

March!

I know, how did it get to be March already! I'm gonna blame my lack of postings on the ski retreat and then being sick for so long. I am finally feeling better, but still totally ready for a nap! Life is busy this week as usual, but I am really going to try and post this week pretty regularly. Here's a pic of Taylor from my mom. She is getting so big (almost 9 months!)

Tonight we are cohosting a seminar thing on teenagers and depression. It should be interesting, hopefully it will give me something to write about tonight.
