Irish Soda Bread

2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup raisins
1 large egg
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 350. Butter a 9 inch round cake pan. Sift together the dry ingredients. Using a food processor with the steel blade or a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles small peas. Blen in the raisins. Beat the egg, buttermilk, and sour cream togetheri until blended. Stir the egg mixture into the dry mixture until just blended. Transfer the batter to the pan and bake for about 50-55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
